Ubisoft has released the official live-action trailer for The Division 2 heading into its release next month, with the trailer itself capturing the struggles of a man holding on to the drawings left behind by his daughter. Contrasted with scenes of a war-torn Washington, D.C., the trailer makes an impact in highlighting the human struggles that prevail so often in life during wartime, giving us an idea of what to expect from The Division 2 in a few more weeks.

This Live Action trailer of Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is called ‘The Drawing’, and is directed by Nicolas Winding Refn in collaboration with the DDB Agency. Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is an upcoming action RPG, developed by Massive Entertainment, MORE & Ubisoft Reflections, and published by Ubisoft. The game is planned to be released for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 15, 2019. This life action short film aims to let the audience feel the desperate plight of a Division agent. You will need to bear the burden of being a hero in a collapsing nation. Facing constant fear and chaos, the agent has hope for the future, motivated by memories of life before the collapse.

We are on the road to the release of Tom Clancy's The Division 2. To help knock the marketing out of the park for the tactical shooter sequel, Ubisoft has enlisted the help of artsy director Nicolas Winding Refn, known for the brilliant Neon Demon, the fantastic Drive and the ultra-divisive Only God Forgives. In this particularly ballistic trailer, we see a host of mercenary squads do battle across Washington D.C. as regulars Joes like you or I are forced to take up arms to retake a capital that has become the ass-end of hell. Players will use tactical team-work, along with ridiculously sci-fi technology, to survive knock-down, drag-out battles around burned-out government buildings, freeway pile-ups and makeshift hideouts.

The open beta will run from March 1st to 4th, and while we don’t have too much of an idea about the content, it shouldn’t be too different from the private beta. So expect two main story missions, some side activities, Control points to capture, a Dark Zone to explore, and one end-game mission. Ubisoft Massive will have more coming after launch thanks to an entire year of free DLC.

At the very end of the trailer, Ubisoft added some gameplay which shows a group of agents trying to liberate the White House before we get the usual "pre-order now" screen. If The Division 2 looks like your cup of tea but you're still unsure about buying it and you missed both closed and open beta, you can read our impressions on the gameplay and PC performance.
